A window will appear (see image below) that will display a shipping and tax estimate based on your shipping address. If everything is correct, click “Submit My Bid”.
Note: You need to be a Sam’s Club member in good standing with an approved credit card on file. You will not be able to bid if the credit card associated with your account has expired or is invalid. Members can securely add or modify a payment method at any time when logged in.
WHAT IS PROXY BIDDING?
Proxy Bidding allows you to bid at the highest amount you are willing to bid on an item and allows the system to manage the auction for you. Assuming your proxy bid is higher than other bidders, you will win the auction without having to be on your computer when the auction closes and will only have to pay increments of $1 more than the second highest bidder.
Example: If you find an item you are interested in that is currently at $47 and you enter a bid of $60, you will be winning the auction at $48 immediately after placing your proxy bid. If another bidder places a bid of $49, then you will automatically outbid the other bidder and will be winning at $50. The system will continue to automatically outbid other bidders on your behalf to help you win the auction but will never exceed your proxy bid amount, which is $60 in this example.
WHAT IS POPCORN BIDDING?Popcorn Bidding gives all bidders an equal chance of winning an auction by extending the end time of the auction if a last minute bid is placed. Any bids placed in the last five minutes before the auction ends will extend the auction by three minutes. Popcorn bidding is used to simulate a live auction and prevents other bidders from "sniping" an auction at the last second without giving all interested bidders a chance to win.
HOW DO I UPDATE MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION?Enter your bid amount and click the "Bid Now" button
A confirmation window will appear and the last four digits of your credit card will display. To temporarily change your credit card information, click "change" and follow the directions.
The credit card information in the confirmation window will be associated with the order when you click the "Submit My Bid” button. Your payment information will revert to the default credit card each time you sign into Sam's Club Auctions until you change the default credit card.
To change your default credit card, visit "My Account"
Then click "My Payment Settings".
Select any of the previously entered credit cards by clicking the "Type/Expiration" of the credit card and follow the directions to change your credit card information.
HOW DO I UPDATE MY SHIPPING ADDRESS?Enter your bid amount and click the "Bid Now" button
A confirmation window will appear and the last four digits of your credit card will display. To temporarily change your shipping address, click “change” and follow the directions to change your shipping address.
The shipping address displayed in the confirmation window will be associated with the order when you click the "Submit My Bid” button. Your shipping address will revert to the default shipping address each time you sign into Sam's Club Auctions unless you change the default shipping address.
To change your default shipping address, visit "My Account"
Then click "My Address Book".
Select any of the previously entered addresses by clicking the "Name" of the address.
Note: We do not ship to post office boxes.
HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?
After you enter your bid amount and click the "Bid Now" button, a window will appear (see image below) which displays your shipping and tax estimate. The shipping estimate will be accurate as long as the displayed shipping address is correct. Members can add or modify a shipping address at any time when logged in. The tax estimate is calculated from the bid amount you've entered so it will change if you win the auction for less than your maximum bid amount.
NOTE: To accept the shipping and tax charges and finalize your bid, click the "Submit My Bid" button.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SHIP?
All items are delivered by standard ground shipping from one of Sam's Club Preferred Shipping Carriers to US states, excluding Puerto Rico. Delivery of large items is not available to AK and HI.

Shipping charges and taxes are calculated and displayed to you during the bid process and prior to confirming to the transaction.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED?Sam's Club Auctions only accepts credit cards. VISA, MasterCard, Discover Card, AMEX and Sam's Club Credit are accepted. Members can securely add or modify a payment method at any time when logged in.
ARE MANUFACTURERS WARRANTIES APPLICABLE ON AUCTION ITEMS?Manufacturer warranties may apply on items in which the manufacturer supplies a warranty.
HOW CAN I RETURN AN ITEM WITHIN 30 DAYS OF PURCHASE?Sam's Club Auction merchandise can be returned within 30 days of purchase, but cannot be returned at any Sam's Club locations or by using the samsclub.com online return option. Auction returns can only be processed by contacting Member Services at 888-746-7726 and following prompts for "samsclub.com" and "Auctions".
WHAT ITEMS QUALIFY FOR A SERVICE PLAN?Most electronics, appliances and jewelry items.
HOW DO I PURCHASE A SERVICE PLAN FOR AN AUCTION ITEM?When an item qualifies for a Service Plan, a systematic e-mail will be sent with the offer to purchase. You may also go into your “my bids” page and click on the “Protect It” logo for any item that is eligible and this will take you through the checkout process flow.

CAN I RENEW MY SERVICE PLAN WHEN THE EXPIRATION DATE ON THE PLAN HAS BEEN REACHED?For most items, renewal of the plan can be arranged. There are some product exceptions, so please call NEW at 1-800-994-7267 for information on renewal eligibility for your specific plan and product.
